The WCIA television program "ciLiving.tv" recently profiled Red Mask on its 75th anniversary.  Watch the video (begins after 15 second commercial).

Scholarship Applications now being accepted

Applications are now being accepted for the 2012 Jean Lewis Scholarship.  Local high school seniors and community college students who are theater majors or who have an expressed interest in pursuing a field of study directly related to the theater are encouraged to apply.  Completed applications must be postmarked by April 6, 2012.  Details and forms.

An Important Message from Red Mask's President

Dear Patrons, Friends and Neighbors:

The 2011-2012 season is an historic one for the Red Mask Players, marking the organization’s 75th consecutive regular season; a feat of which we are very proud.  In addition to offering Danville and surrounding areas the best in live theatrical performances since 1936, the Red Mask Players also offers learning opportunities to all ages and introductions into the dramatic arts.  The organization has grown and adapted to changes witnessed in society since 1936 in order to meet the needs of its patrons and the community as a whole.

Reflecting on these 75 years, we are looking to our patrons, friends and community to celebrate this achievement with us and assure the Red Mask Players continues to have a positive presence in Danville for another 75 years, or more, with the 75 for $75 Campaign.  As a 501 (c)(3) organization, any contribution you make to the Red Mask Players is tax deductible and goes toward assuring that one of the oldest community theater organizations in the country will continue to make positive contributions to the Danville community as a whole, and each individual we serve.  You may download the contribution form here.
