With great fanfare, Red Mask is thrilled to announce the launch of our latest adventure: Ghost Light Studio. The concept of the ghost light—a solitary bulb left alight in an otherwise dark theater—inspires our newest initiative. Ghost Light Studio is conceived to illuminate our stage during periods when it would traditionally remain unlit, bringing forth productions that captivate, challenge, and stimulate thought.

This initiative aims to expand Red Mask's repertoire by introducing works that would not fit into our traditional season offerings, whether because of subject matter, staging, or cast requirements. These studio shows will diversify our theatrical offerings for our patrons and our community of actors and directors.

The idea of a studio program has been contemplated for some time, but the timing was never right, and the idea fizzled. It wasn't until a group from our Danville theater community enthusiastically proposed the staging of a widely anticipated, riveting play that we found the right moment to bring this concept to life.

Ghost Light Studio is committed to fostering talent and providing opportunities for artists to contribute to the vibrant storytelling of our theater. Red Mask believes in the power of our community's talent and is eager to showcase the diverse voices and skills that make our theater a home for all.
